I am curious about how you are treated as couple. I live in the south. I have been married for ten years and I don't notice peoples reactions anymore. But I am curious. If I offend anyone I apologiz. But I would really like to know your thoughts.

i am not in a bi-racial relationship but a friend of mine is she is white and he is black and they live in the deep south , and she has always said that they do get some looks , but most people are accepting of them and she doesn't consider it as much of a problem as you would think

I'm black married to an Italian. We are in Canada and do not get any looks. I guess it's different here as we are a very multi cultural society and it's not an odd or unusual occurrence to see bi-racial couples, there seems to be quite a few bi-racial marriages here it seems to be the norm and not the exception here.

Well, I'm a white guy that loves black women, so I have dated a few, in Canada. Only had one bad incident, we were in a restaurant and this guy keeps staring at me. I stared back, and he looked away. If he did not, I would have walked over and asked him what the f**k his problem was.
Maybe the South is different. Me, I would love to find a nice mullata woman.

Well I am white and I am married to a Mexican guy. We live in the south. My family are big rednecks. Let's just say my family was not happy at my choice in a husband. We get weird looks mostly from American people. But I say let them stare.
