The Koran tells Muslims not to kill as well. Yet some Muslims blow up trains and buses. How come you are not getting on their backs as well?

It is a personal commandment. I don't kill for myself. However, the government has the right and obligation to carry out measures of force not granted to individuals. When a governor signs an execution order or a president commits troops to war, they are acting on behalf of the government, and that's different. God ordered the Israelites to conquer cities AFTER he told them not to kill. But his order was to the nation of Israel, not to individuals. He would not have approved of rape and murder, but wiping out a whole city as a military effort is different. Doesn't mean it isn't brutal, tragic, etc, but it's different from the individual commandment Thou Shalt Not Kill.
By the way, the world's hipocracy and prejudice against the Jews is just unbelievable. The Palestinians have been sending suicide bombers into Israel for years to blow up women and children, and the press and politicians have never held them accountable. Hezbollah sent rockets into northern Israel, killing many civilians, and not one peep was heard from the UN. Now Israel has had enough and they fight back, and NOW the f'ing World Community says "Oh, look at bad Jews killing innocent Lebanese babies. You must stop! You must negotiate a cease fire."
What a bunch of crap. I think we oughta drop a couple bombs on the UN.

The Sixth Commandment is speaking about premeditated murder . If you will read the Old Testament, particularly The Law you would get a better understanding about the 6th Commandment.

just cause they say they're christains doesn't mean they are, and if they're killing others, then chances are, they've missed out on something called LOVE!

In the correctly translated version, it is actually "Thou shalt not murder". Killing is sometimes a necessity, be it enemies or criminals, etc.
As for having to listen to someone else try to tell us what Chrisianity means, no thanks, we don't need some ignorant interloper with a political agenda to come and tell us what our faith means.

Every religion (except maybe Satanism) says that killing is a sin, not just Christianity.

Your point being? You probably think that we shouldn't fight in wars because people die, so in other words, we just let the evil people of the world take over because we don't want people to be killed.
