I consider it northern but not b/c of geography. It is more like denmark,holland,sweden,norway b/c of culture, language.
Central Europe I consider to be czech. rep., slovakia, austria, hungary. They are all in the slovak language group and are all emerging economies.
Northern countries are more established.

i'm Norwegian, and that i think of the cliché is that we are somehwhat shy yet friendly if approached. maximum human beings talk good English. i would call it nborthern european because i consider central to be the slavic countries and the balkans, germany is more nordic in nature, it is by the sea, and fishing and other marine activities are huge.
