I think he is asking about who invent the three point line. Three point line was adopted fully for the first time in American Basketball Association in 1961, although the idea came from NCAA tournament in 1945.

I don't think it should be adopted as a regular shot that players would regularly attempt. However, it would be cool if they counted half court shots as 4 points. You know like those last second heaves at the end of quarters or the end of the half? Those could be worth 4, because really if you make that you deserve 4 points. The good thing about that shot is players wouldn't attempt them very often, and wouldn't make them very often either. It would be a special thing that you wouldn't see very often.

steal ball from oponent's half ----------run . stop and shoot.
your teamates tosses you a good high ball instead of catching it push the ball into the hole.
