you can fake the name. but do not fake the e-mail address. if you do then you will never be able to delete the account.

Well, myspace don't know who you are so of course you can make up a name, no one is going to check or ask for ID. I don't know about putting a number though. But your name isn't seen by anyone anyway only your username.

You can put in your real first name and last name, and then make it where people aren't allowed to search for you by that.

i Don't see why not. but if you put your real first and last name, it's kept confidential. The only way it'll come up is if a friends types it in to search for you.

People can't see your real name anyway, but you can still make it up if you want.
The only reason they have you enter your real name, is so people who know you can search for you and find you if they want. (i.e. old friends, etc.)
But people who are just browsing myspace cannot determine your real name if you don't want them to.
