Yes, it was the same with our little girl. She's10 months and now has 7 teeth. But, I would ask the doctor to be sure in case it is not an ear infection or something else. If she is refusing a bottle, that could be because the suction is hurting her ears. Good luck! A fever is NOT a sign of teething.. Very low grade is OK but you should always call you doctor. The same happened to my baby and as soon as I called the doctor she had me come in and it ended up being Coxsackie disease.

yes because he feels icky and just imagine how much his mouth must hurt him. Just give him soft stuff for now and most of all make sure that he is drinking plenty of liquids so that he doesn't dehydrate. If he has gone more than a week without any foods then I'd call his doctor but as long as you get those fluids in him he should be fine. Try giving him Tylenol or Motrin for the pain. That might make him feel better and if he feels better then he might just want to eat. Good Luck

Yes unfortunatly. Not only is he feeling yucky, but the foods can be bothering his gums. Frozen ice pops usually are helpfull, and use tylenol during the really bad times. You can get suggestions from his pediatritian as well.

Yes, some foods can irratate the area where the tooth is coming in and some foods can make the pain worse than it really is.

Absolutely it could. Try infant paracetamol if he seems distressed or teething gel.
I find cold half-slices of cucumber work well for my 9mth baby too.
If nothing seems to be working, or if he becomes too upset, you should see his GP, just in case.
Good luck :-)
