I have read both books . This one talks quite in depth about blood and injuries . Like getting this ear on barbed wire and watching them throw it in the bin . Also a few swears now and then . The second book is more of the same but slightly less graphic .

Its really up to you . Depends on wether your 12 year old is easily effected by these sort of things . Hope it helps .

For the record it is a great read and all wrestling fans should own it or both.

I don't really think it is fit for a 12 yr old, but then again there are a few kids much more advance intellectually. So it depends on the kid and what the parent see fit. But the parent should read it first to make sure.

Does contain some bad language and descriptions of violence but if your 12 year old wants to read the book then im presuming you let him watch WWE and that also contains some bad language and violence so I say let the kid have the book already!!! Have a nice day, bang bang!!!

depends on your idea of suitable reading.foley talks in depth about his brutal matchesand losing an ear which may turn some off,but as a man foley is about as good a character as you could get.he worked so hard to make a name for himself, and in a buisness where sex and smut are used frequently his niche was putting a sock on his hand and talking to it.
