The Red Sox were in slump and they didnt play their best. Their pitching wasnt top notch. The royals played their best and put in their best pitcher and players.

I was completley surprised and I was also happy because I hate the Red Sox and I know that the Royals aren't playing well and the Red Sox are playing well and the Red Sox actually got swept by a team that is like 25 games back from first place. But, I'm happy for the Royals because they helped the Yankees stay in first place in the AL east. I guess the Red Sox really do stink!! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!:-) :-) :-)

Since when do we think the Red Sux were the best team? The best team just came into Chicago and got swept.
And I wouldn't put much stock in the Red Sux beating the Orioles. Check the last few years and you can probably count on one hand the number of times Baltimore's beaten Boston. The Orioles just seem to be jinxed when facing the Red Sux.

cause it's baseball and any team can beat any team at any give time. how the hell could the red sox be the best team they aren't even the best team in their division right now

just for your info the red sox stink and they do not have the best record in baseball. I believe that they did a test and the whole team went off steiroids and it revealed the real red sox. The ones that stink

I think the key for the Royals is their new first baseman,Ryan Shealy. He is awesome. His minor league batting stats were superb and he has shown great patience at the plate in the bigs. His defense gives the Royals a solid stopper at first. Look for good things from him. Oh, and also, Schilling pitched poorly and the rest of the Royals played well.
