That is a deep question. Think of magnets North and South poles attract and N - N or S - S repel. That is where the saying comes from. It is just a saying.

I'm a very uptight person so I tend to look for someone who's a bit more laid back so I can learn how to loosen up. If I were with someone just like me, I'd probably have to hurt him because it's just not natural to be like this. :-)

Because they fill in the parts that the partner is missing. If one is gregarious and the other is shy. The shy one can be more sociable vicariously.

i guess because if u have some1 who is exactley like u then it would get boring and u would get sick of it..... if u have some1 who is opposite of u then its kinda like they fit in to the missing peice of the puzzle
