This may sound weird, but I am trying to save up money to buy a wallaby. Don't laugh. The males are $1500 plus $172.56 shipping costs. And I'm being totally serious, serious answers only, please! :)

Have you considered on jobs like a paper route, babysitting or asking friends and family who may know of connections or things you can do? The next question is how much time are your willing to wait, because the once you start saving, I'd look into a way to save the money but gains interest such as a CD (Certificate of Deposit). You can get these at many banks. Therefore you can continue to work and save and you'll typically make more money in a CD that having it sit there in a bank account. Also be aware that you can get a charge if you take your money from your CD earlier than the date that it's to mature on.

have you checked the permits you'll need to own it? I was going to buy a raccon from a pet store and you needed a level 6 permit...pending approval by an animal worker who would come to your house to check the cage, also theres an application fee for the permit. Once you find out all thats involved I think you'll pick a different pet. A wallaby wouldnt be happy living the life of a dog-no matter how much you would love it.If your so impressed by this animal-dont torture it by making it a household pet. damn paris hilton..PETS ARENT ACCESSORIES

You'll have to work your *** off if you want to earn that amount of money. People would prefer not to pay 12 year olds much money. Try doing something like mowing a shitload of yards, washing cars, baby sitting, etc.

Hell, even try going up to guys and say "hey there...can you please spare some money" then bat your sad little eyes until he melts.

Otherwise, there isn't any legal ways to get that type of cash. There are some illegal ways that I could suggest but I won't do so..unless you ask me, haha. jk

Umm no. It's NOT going to be easy. You'll just have to keep saving and my guess is you'll have to have alot of self control not to spend your saved money, and by the time you earn that much money you might now want a wallaby.
