I've thought of myself as bisexual for about a year now, but the idea of actually being in a relationship with another man kind of grosses me out, no offense to gays. But I do have a crush on the actor Paul Bettany. but the idea of making out/sex/kissing another man is gross to me. what does this mean?

A lot of girls have a crush on Angelina, but that does'nt make them a lesbian. I think it's natural to find other males attractive and still be straight. If you dont wanna b physical w/a dude then ur not bisexual.

My guess is that you are but it hasn't reached a point where you feel a need to experiment a little. If you self-identify as a bisexual, you probably are one. Having a crush on an actor does not make one gay or bi though. Lots of men do that, especially when they are young. As far as "making out" and "kissing" goes, lots of male bisexuals don't show an ounce of affection towards a partner like that. Many (not all) are just into outright sexual acts themselves; they are into the eroticism of it all with another male, not affection, even physical affection. Once again, if you have accepted yourself as being attracted to both sexes (you internally self-identify as a bisexual male) you probably are one. That doesn't mean you are going to be jumping from one gender to the other though, repeatedly. It just means that you are, at some level, at some intensity, sexually aroused by both women and men.

Appreciation for the same sex or physical attraction? Either way you are not something until you do something and even then it is about your acceptance of an identity. How you identify yourself is often different than the way others do. The important thing is that you are comfortable and confident in who you are. Sounds like you need to do some more inner exploration. Bi or not you are loved.

Just because you admire another man doesn't mean you're gay or bisexual. Many men love and idolize(d) Elvis P...but that doesn't mean they wanted a sexual relationship with him; they simply found him fasinating and someone they want or wanted to be like.
In order to be gay or bisexual you would want to have to have sex with them and it wouldn't gross you out thinking about it.....if you get turned on by thinking of women not men then you are simply normal in that man was not created to lay down with men but women...and homosexualty is not natual it is chosen.

I have nothing to say that hasn't already been said...I just want to say I had to look up who Paul Bettany is and although you are perfectly entitled to your opinion, I just think he was way too creepy in The Da Vinci Code.

Lots of people are attractd to the same sex but could never act on it. It is natural but suppressed by our society. Every bosy does this but most wont admit it. It doesn't neccessarily mean anything other than that actor is a hottie!

I'm the same sort of, I like women much more than men. I just like being a transvestite slut because I admire hookers/whores/prostitutes. Fetish I guess, satisfying, but not attracted to men.

being bisexuial dosen't mean you have to have sex with the same sex. many relationships survive w/out sex, even if the poeple are in love
