A sewer named Vincent? Heheh, strange name for a sewer!

Actually being an old fogey from the 80s (I'm 34) I can remember this programme. It was called "Beauty and the Best" and it was an American series about a scary looking "Beast" called Vincent who lived in the sewers of New York (along with lots of other freaky people) and his true love who lived up above ground blah de blah. Sort of typical naff 80s nonsense really but I remember the girls at school watching it so it must have been shown in the UK sometime in the late 80s (I left school in 1990).

If I remember rightly the "Beast" was played by Ron Perlman who most recently was "Hellboy" and "Beauty" was Linda Whatsername who was in the Terminator Films.

EDIT: Just went on IMDB and heres the link to the show:

It was called "Beauty and the Beast." He looked like a lion and was in love with Catherine. He was very romantic. Without the make-up, he looked like a dork, in my opinion. She was very beautiful.

Hmm... i'm going to study.... "The confusion of guy" - whilst a woman cries for no reason, the guy's puzzled... he's real. "An insatiable beast" - Nympho... sufficient mentioned. he's real. "a non-provide up rigidity" - men constantly nerve-racking approximately what to assert, what to do, and so on.... he's real. "An incessant war" - psychological war of what he might go with to do.. and what he relatively does... with the lady... he's real. "a each and daily smash" - no longer unavoidably.... he's incorrect. "a house of tempest" - Yeah... uh.... no. he's incorrect. "A undertaking to devotion" - the lady your dating/in contact/married to as against that warm, captivating lady strolling via interior the quick purple gown..... he's real. you comprehend, particular ladies in good shape what he's asserting to a "T"... others do no longer. So... it is not that he's being too annoying on "the babes"... yet that he's generalizing. no longer ALL women folk are like that. There ARE good, decent, loving women folk accessible.... no longer all individuals are confusing, emotional nymphos that entice men and lead them to loopy..... He ought to've had a foul adventure with a woman and assumed that each and one and all women folk have been like her..... undesirable naive guy.
