The best way to have clear skin is to prevent pimples and zits from happening. Have a daily cleansing routine. Every morning wash your face with a light facial scrub and moisturize. I recomend something like a clean and clear scrub, or neutragina foaming scrub. They are both great and leave your skin smooth. Also, before you go to bed use a mild liquid soap, such as tea tree face wash or neutragina regular face wash. Always moisturize, I know it sounds counter productive, but use an oil free moisturizer. If your skins feels like it's not properly moisturized, it will create more oils which clog your pores. If you don't remember to wash your face at night, use a toner, same effect, less hassle. Also, drink plenty of water and don't touch your face if you can help it!

I use proactive solution. I broke out really badly and after about two weeks of using proactive, they had almost completely went away. I don't want to sound like the infomercial but that is what I would recommend.

Get something by Neutrogena. Even the blackhead stuff helped me get rid of my pimples and zits. It did clear the blackheads.

Any Phisoderm products work really well no matter what your skin type. It's over the counter and the best one is Phisoderm Body Wash.

if you never used proactiv, then it works in the beginning. but once your skin starts getting used to it, it'll lose its effectiveness.
