we all hold a special place in our hearts for our first love. so, assuming that you arent with that person at present, for whatever reason. do you still consider yourself to be in love with that person. and if you had the opportunity, would you get back together with that person?

My first love---- I still am great friends with him, I love his girlfriend, we are very close. I wouldnt get back together with him, because when we were in love at 16 (ten years ago) we were both just young nieve kids, Now we are both adults and are COMPLETELY different people. I wouldnt consider myself to be currently in love with him now... But Ill always hold a special place in my heart for the 16 yr old little boy that I use to love. Hes just NOT the same person he was at 16, Im not either... People grow up and change.

That's a hard 1. When I 1st fell in love it felt that my whole world had ended & that I wud never get over him & that nobody cud ever take his place. Sum1 else came in2 my life & I let him go bcoz I thought that I did not love him as much as my 1st love (amongst other things). Its only now that my 1st love has come back in2 my life & wants 2 marry me that I have realised that I was in love with the other guy. So like u I dont know wot 2 do but I have realised that it is possible 2 love sum1 else & a part of me just wants 2 move on now & find sum1 new & not hold on 2 the past.

Yes. I still love him. I still, also, believe that he was the one for me-just bad timing. I'll probably never get over it. They say it's normal to miss your first love. I would never get back together with him though, it just wouldn't work out. There's too much stuff accumulated. He changed, I changed. We grew up and grew apart. What I miss is the person he was, not the person he is now. I miss that person terribly and love him with every thing I have! -But he's different now. It's hard to deal with loving a person who only now exists in memories. But the memories that I have keep me going and if I could I would thank him a million times for those memories. I guess first loves are like the kind of dreams that if you had the choice you would never wake up. However, you do wake up and have to face reality but-you never forget that dream, ever.

Oh man it's been a long time for me! Met in 1984 got married in 1987 and still together with three beautiful kids. There are times when we argue over petty nonsense and get mad at each other but our love and commitment is greater than the petty stuff.
At times I like to enjoy some quiet space but I would not trade my life for a single life. I cannot imagine what being single today would have felt like. So to answer the second part of your question, I don't know if I would get back because we have never parted.

I stayed with my first love for over 10 years, and we had 3 children together. I was only 15 and he was 22 when we met, and I was so inlove with him when we met that I ran away from home to be with him , and we traveled all around the southern U.S. As the time went by, and the more kids we had (he already had 2 kids from a previous marriage), I started to see how he would refuse to grow up and take on his responsibities as a father and future husband. He was constantly in jail (go figure a deadbeat father) and I just had to be strong for my kids so I decided to be a woman and be on my own 2 feet. To this day, we still clash, and to be honest, no I would not go back to him, not only because he is married again,( with another child), but I grew up. What about you???What about your first love?????

i've got been in love for 19 years. It gets deeper, greater comforatble and sweeter because of the fact the years circulate by utilising. Wait until eventually a courting has stepped forward earlier getting intimate and the affection will final. people who sleep mutually too quickly deprive the courting from springing up deeper. If there is love, intercourse can wait until eventually there is dedication and know, and then it somewhat is relaly super and it maintains to be super.

I stayed in love with my first love for about two and a half years after we broke up, until i met my current bf and fell in love with him...i definatly would NOT get back together with my ex EVER, but only bc it ended badly and there were a lot of issues with our relationship. that didnt change the fact that i loved him though. but now im so happy and in love with my bf so im glad things worked out the way they did. i was in love with my first love during other relationships that i had during that 2 and a half years though, which was a very weird feeling.
