You have to try and see the big picture. First, Bush is President and Congress is run by the Republicans. So the Democrats are blocked from doing anything about the Iraq War or even the Lebanon War.
Why no demonstrations. The answer is, The Vietnam War history inside of America. My generation protested to hell and back with little or no effect in the 60's and 70's. When the war finally came to the obvious conclusion it was headed for, the Republicans and the Conservative Democrats blamed the protests for losing the War.
That may not seem serious to you, but to those of us who were young at the time, it was deadly serious. We the demonstrators knew the War was not justifiable based on American values. There were 13 million Vietnamese in Vietnam. The United States killed the Vietnamese people extremely efficiently.
The United States killed over a million Vietnamese.
The United States killed over a million Vietnamese. Just think how that is going to look in the history books. Americans have not seriously come to terms with our behavior in Vietnam yet.
The Iraq War is a continuation of the same problem. The American people are arrogant about other people. We general keep thinking that America is like white bread, how can anyone say no.
The Vietnam protesters saw this War in Iraq before it started as another Vietnam phenomenon. It is like tearing open the same wound. God, well the American people every learn it is not Christian or ethical to devalue human beings to the point you can kill them in mass. Not ever!

I am an American and I am not a terrorist.
But on the other hand nor do I support this Bush regime. You misunderstand American politics though, we as the people do not pick the President of the United States, he is put in by a group of people called the electorial college.

I think that Bush is responsible for many horrendous war crimes and atrocities. Yet for the American to speak out against him, we run the strong possability of being shipped to the U.S. run concentration camp Guatanomo Bay.
Thank you to the Patriot Act.

There is absolutely nothing Patriotic about that act. Dissent is Patriotic. But having the system in place in which we do in America, Bush is finished in 2008, his terms up, we'll get a Democrat in office, and this madness will come under check.

Most Americans live in Latin American countris 510 million out of a total 850 million Americans. So there is nothing most Americans can do about Mr. Bush. United Statesians may be able to change this in the next elections though.

We don't do anything about GWB because he is doing the very best he can to protect our country from savage fascist Muslims. He sent troops into Iraq to free Iraqis from a totalitarian dictator, to open up a front in the middle east to take out terrorists, and to make the U.S. and much of the rest of the world safer from a nut-job who would be happy to dump chemical weapons on anyone. Yes, civilians did die. America regrets that, but our enemy WANTS to kill innocents. The fascist Muslims' whole reason for being is to kill and maim innocent men, women, and children. So why don't you consider putting your hatred where it truly belongs, with the Muslim fanatics who started all of this. BTW- American troops are still in Afghanistan, helping to stabilize the country. The soldiers who committed atrocities in Iraq are going to be severely punished by America. If Muslims did this to an American, Brit, or Jew they would be welcomed home as heroes. So why don't you check yourself and get a little education on the REAL state of the world, not some random nonsense Ahmadinejad and Co. fed you.

Unfortunately the American design of government makes it almost impossible for President Bush to be removed. The actions he is taken are justified by his executive war powers and Congress, which authorized military action in Iraq are the only ones that can impeach Bush. So as long as the Republican Congress sides with Bush, this American debacle is going to continue. :(

Why should they?
When the blunders and slip-ups with human errors was created by little children playing computer games with their freedom of speech that scare the hell and living daylights out of living human kind on planet earth.
Why kick the butts of the dirty old men in office and ask them to jump ship?
Give them time and let them do the clean-up of the mess the little children had created.
Did'nt anyone learn an old saying ' Children are to be seen and not to be heard " on planet earth?
An old saying which does not change with time but stays in time on planet earth.
Notice who is doing the talking?
Was it the dirty old men or the little chidren messing around with the dirty old men job on planet earth?

"lets his soldier ra pe gir ls" hmm... interesting. Last time I checked the soldier in question (and his buddies) faced severe disciplinary action for what he has done. I find it interesting that you should focus all of your angst on one man; like he's the source of all problems. I'd be interested to know where you get your facts from.
