Is there a product that i can put on a convertible top to keep birds from removing the threads.?

Birds are ripping the seams of my convertible top. Want to know if there is a product that will keep them off.

Why not just use a car cover? The exposure to the elements (including birds) is shortening the life of your top anyway. A good car cover can be had for less than fifty bucks.
