Well, I was in the same spot, several years ago. Your best bet is to combine your Spanish with history and/or political science. This would give you many opportunities in banking, government, the UN and, of course, teaching.

There is a great demand for science graduates. You can always work in a research center in a Spanish-speaking country. There are many US companies in South America.

Sociology is always a good choice. It is a science, it looks good on a resume, and it will give you a deeper understanding about what makes people behave the way they do - always a benefit for a teacher. Also, there are many jobs open to a person with a degree in Sociology - Human Resources, Law Enforcement, Family Services & Welfare. Government jobs kick but because the pay is better that the private sector and the benefits packages are very good.

If you like science, would you like Archeology?
Still lots of research and exploring going on in SA. Spanish would be a plus.

Haven't you found English almost a snap, knowing a foreign language.

When I studied Latin, English was almost a given to me. SP. and IT. came easier also.
