It is widely believed that our first ancestors developed in N. Africa, based on fossils. As the dark skin is a great bonus for surviving there (explained in your other ?) then our ancestors were probably dark skinned.
I don't have any good sources on humans coming from N. Africa, though. As the middle east / N. Africa region was once a very fertile and hospitable land, then that would have been a good place to develop. It seems like there are far more "people of color" on the planet, so it makes sense that us whities were not the first ones here.

I dont think "prove the theory" is correct, but how about "support the theory".
How about a question which "Did God create other people besides Adam and Eve?" I think so because the bible suggests it when Cain is exiled.
This suggests that there were multiple groups at the beginning and accordingly, they don't have to be of the same color.
Genesis
4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

No, the first people were not from Africa. The Garden of Eden was in the area of modern day Turkey (Assyria, prior), west of the Ararat Mts. so Adam and Eve were lighter skinned, but not white. However, it has always been my firm belief that there is no black or white skin, only different shades of tan. Many think that it was in Iraq, however, that is coming from the conclusion that the referenced rivers are in the same place. In the beginning, the rivers were in a different location and the correct location of the Garden of Eden would place it in modern day Turkey, not Iraq.

Well, if you believe in evolution, yes. We are all descendants of people of color. Evolution tells us that we are descendants of gorillas, specifically from Africa. As humans spread across the globe, their skin color changed to suit the environment. This is obviously from a scientific rather than religious standpoint, but it is what I believe. I'm sure a few Aryan Nation members will have differing opinions.

No color was mentioned. So anyone that's trying to say that Adam and Eve were black or white or pink with purple polka-dots is full of hot air.
However, I have also read the biblical descriptions of Eden. And the rivers that border Eden do exist in Africa.
