I was sadly surprised to see how dismantled Real looked. Real kept losing the ball in left midfield (Zidane's territory) and Roberto Carlos again was bad at defending. Raul made some great pass but Beckham always reached his target. Van Nistelrooy has to adjust and find Real's rhythmic flow.

For your information, guys, Real Madrid DID beat Real SL 2 to nothing, that and their just ending preseason, cut them some slack. They've got a lot of new players right now who played in that match and they need to get adjusted and figure out the rhythm of the rest of the team. So as much as I was dissappointed that it wasn't as convincing of a victory as I would have hoped, I still think that los Galacticos still did very well and that people just need to accept the fact that Zidane retired and that Real Madrid is still a good team without him.

When a player is good he will definitely be missed..despite of what Zidane did in the finals of the World Cup has nothing to do with his performance.

I agree with you. They couldn't even beat a bad MLS team. I just wish that Zizou will come and play in the US, I dont really care where he plays, I just wanna see him in action again.
Real is definetly missing him and his visionary skills.
Viva Zizou, we love you

Yes, Real do need someone influential in the mid-field.

of course they are missing him but the fact is no player is eternal.
Real is rebuilding the team and it is too earl y to judge their work.
