I was going to get the Dread Pirate edition until I saw the covers of each of them. I'd definitely want the one with a better picture of Cary Elwes(!), and his sweet, sweet face is covered by a mask on the Dread Pirate cover. So it's Buttercup for me!

If you are a big enough fan you are going to buy them both because they are different, even if it's only the covers. I know this for sure because my husband is a star wars geek and he does that kind of thing all the time.

Maybe it's just a different cover design? I would pick Dread Pirate Roberts but you choose...As you wish! ;)

The Dread Pirate Roberts version is for boys, and the Buttercup version is for girls... the only difference is the cover.

Outside of that, the DVD content is exactly the same.

They have the same features, so just go for the one who's packaging you like best. Great movie!

Inconceivable…

go with your Instincts… I’d choose the less expensive one. You’ll be happy either way.
