I am wanting to get another tattoo. Currently I have one on my left shoulder and one on my right ankle. I thought about my lower back but thats where every other girl out there has one and my husband thinks they are tramp stamps if you put them there. Thanks for the suggestions.

I know your husbands opinion is important, but at the end of the day, it's your body and you should get your tattoo where ever it makes you happy. If you don't want it on your back, there are other places that are just as sexy. Your hips are a good place, right above your pelvic bone. Or back hip right above your butt. Personally, I think the lower back is a great canvas for a tattoo. It's a great place because it's a great visual and doesn't have any obstruction to it. Maybe your husband can compromise by having it a little higher, like around your waist. Just remember that it's what makes you happy. You're the one who's going to have this for the rest of your life. and A tatto in a wrong place is the worst accesory ever!

I have one on the middle of my back and it is anything but a typical tramp stamp. Here's the thing, it's not your husband's body that the tattoo is going on, and he should not have a say where one goes on your body. A tattoo if forever, and unfortunatly many marriages are not. Make sure that you are happy with the place that you choose.

I have one on my calf and one on my breast bone. somewhere sensual that makes you feel beautiful is where I would put it. if that place is on your lower back then put it there. The place a tatoo is doesn't make a tramp, attitude does.

I have one down the middle of my upper back. And one on my lower hip, that's a good place for a small one.

Try the middle of your upper back... between your shoulder blades. That would be a nice balance with what you've got now.

just above your hip bone would be cute, if i got a tattoo, it would be there. I agree with the tattoos on backs thing too, not for me.

i once saw a woman with a small ram's head tattooed above her vagina it was an interesting find at the time but she wasn't married to anyone so maybe not for you

What about right below your neck on your back or somewhere on your thigh or on your other shoulder. Good luck with it.

Instead of your lower back, why not middle of your back (that's where I have my sun). I also have on my stomach just above my hip.
