Can I connect HP laser printer 1020 to a PIII with Win 98 and USB 1 capability? No USB 2 port on my computer.

The HP should be backwards compatible to the USB 1 port. Thing is are you running Win98SE? Otherwise the USB won't even work.

I'd suggest buying a USB 2.0 multi port card. 1.1 is SLooooow

Here's a 5 port card for only 8 bucks
