When Shug and Celie are walking in the field toward the end of the movie and Shug talks about noticing the color purple. How all nature goes out of it's way to be noticed and loved. How we are that way too.
The Color Purple is one of my alltime favorite movies.

All my life i had to fight, i had to fight my brothers and my uncles,and i never thought I'd have to fight in my own house! I'll kill him dead before i let harpo beat me! i hope that i got this somewhat right i love this movie and i think i need to watch it again! great question!
