Well, living in the Caribbean, the most popular sport here is cricket which I do love also(cricket forum is kinda boring!).In my country(Trinidad and Tobago) football is also popular especially since we qualified for the 06' wc. Also popular are track and field,tennis and swimming which are basically the sports that interest me!

well, i'm from a trinidadian family, i wasn't born there, i wish. Therefore cricket is rubbish to me. But my dad is a fanatic. I love football and it was just intensified when Trinidad qualified, I almost had a heart attack and started running around like a chicken with no head.
but yes, it's nice to see another Trini in the forum.

I'm so glad I was born in Quebec versus where I find myself now in the USA. There I got the taste for Formula One, remember Gilles Villeneuve. I love tennis too and my favorite player is Nadal. Even though his uncle played for Barcelona if you ask him Barca or Real Madrid, he'll tell you Real Madrid. Zidane is his favorite player. I had to put a little football in the answer since some are threatening to archive this section.

Cricket me too. I live in India, and being a cricket lover u must be knowing why an Indian loves cricket. Tendulkar rocks Lara sux, or maybe Lara is okay. lol

I personally like all the sports listed here in yahoo.... except maybe for darts and curling...
Cricket is Ok.... West Indies used to be one of my fav. teams.... But I find the sport too long and hence, too boring...
Oh, and congrats to you for getting a point in the world cup... Lets not just stop here.... maybe atleast 3 points in the next world cup....

tennis especially when all major tennis players plays at the Grand Slam & also F1 racing.
not forgetting the Olympics especially the women's gymnastics. i like their moves when they perform.

i love volleyball. its a fun, quick, fast paced game and easy enough to understand but much more harder to play.
