Ok, my kids father doesnt pay child support, and he has a criminal backround that is pages long, as of now he has warrants out for his arrest, and the girl he lives with he beat the sh*t out of which landed him 3 years of probation that he violated 3 times and thats why their is a warrant, Now the girl he is with(the one he beat up) there was a no contact order put in by the couurt system which they ignore and live together. He is demanding to see his kids and I personaly feel his living situation and the trouble he is in wouldnt be in the best intrest of the kids, His girlfriend gets involved by running her mouth to me and defending this criminal boyfriend of hers. What should I do as far as my children are concerned? Do I let them see their dad considering he will probably go to jail at anytime or do I keep them away from him and the psycho girlfriend?

I don't know his other criminal history, but personally if I KNEW he had laid a hand on his girlfriend (someone he obviously "cares" about) I wouldn't let my children anywhere near him.

I also don't know how old your children are, but I personally would wait until they are older & tell them exactly what their father's history is & let them make the choice whether or not to let him into their lives.

Just my 2 cents.

Has a custody order already been established? If so you will need to contact an attorney to get the correct papers filed. Proof of his being unfit will also be needed. In the state of Wisconsin they give the child a lawyer and the parents have to pay for their own. If their is a history of violence this is also necessary to prove. If you children are afraid of him they need to be seen at a place like mental health. To establish proof of abuse. If a custody order has not already been established than you can go to the child support agency or family court commissioner and tell them your fears. We proved that our granddaughters father was unfit and his mother also was unfit. There was a lot of abuse in the home and the police were called several times. He has visitation but only supervised! And to get that changed he would have to visit on a regular basis. He never did. He still has limited visits and he will probably never have anything else.

If he has a warrant out for his arrest and you know where he is, call the police and report that. Tell them that he is trying to make contact with the kids and you fear for their safety. Unless you are ordered by the court to let him see them, please keep those kids away from that situation. The other option is to go to a supervised visitation place. The will charge a fee, but the kids would be able to see their father and he would not be alone with them.

Most definitely do not allow the kids any where near him unless it is a supervised visit through the courts! You are only looking out for the well being of your children by doing this- the last thing you or the kids need is the drama of him being arrested or hurting the gf in front of them or worse yet- he lays a hand on one of the kids- be smart and be safe with the kids...good luck!! ;o)

Talk to Dept of Family Services, or Children Protective Services . They will help you and your children. If you let him see your kids and he hurts them you could loose them by not protecting them. If he does have a warrant you should call the police. Because you have info you may be considered an accessory for not reporting what you know. Good luck!

Do you have a lawyer? I suggest you get one and tell him everything . Do what ever it takes to protect these kids. They deserve happines and stability not this mess. Hurry don't waste anymore time on this. The sooner you act on it the better. Me being you I'd get a restraining order put out on both of them while wating to speak to a lawyer. Becareful use every precaution necessary to protect yourself as well. Change your phone number ( if you haven't done that already). That way he can't harass you over the phone. Have faith be strong and pray to God he'll help you through all of this you just got ot have a lot of faith hang in there. Good luck and God Bless you and your kids.

As messed up as your choice of a father of your children has been, he still has a right to see his own children accordingly to his parental visitation...if you fear for their safety you must get a restraining order against him....if you don't then you can also get yourself in trouble...I understand your situation...since he is already has warrants and you don't want him around....just tell him you'll call the police on him if he comes for the kids...but when and if this happens it would be to your benefit to be prepared to present retraining orders that will allow the police to do their jobs and get the kids back ASAP.

If there is a warrant for his arrest I'd call the law and tell them where he is. Then I would contact a lawyer about your kids and see what you could do about that. As far as his girlfriend goes I'd tell her to shut her damn mouth and stay out of it!!!!!!!

Are you an IDIOT!

What part of motherhood made you even think that letting them see this loser makes sense.

HE HAS A WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST!

Here is what you do:

Call the cops and tell them he is coming over to your house at a given time.

Tell him he can come over and see the kids.

He comes over, cops take him away.

Kick the crazy girlfriend in the cookie and then move away from this mess.
