I use to think that the build a bear thing was so stupid.. Then I went into the store.... I'm 38. I was fine until I got to the part where the little girl had to kiss the little bears heart before it got sewn into the little bears chest, that was it. I got all choked up, I looked up at my husband and he just laughed at me while I wiped the tears. So, yes honey go make yourself a little bear and love him always. Have fun...

No way! Teddy Bears are adorable and there are a few that are naughty. In fact, I had a teddy bear built a year or so ago and I'm 26. In fact, I still keep an eye out for a cute teddy.

There is a very very very low likelihood of this "relationship" lasting so don't be buying him gifts that will get tossed in the trash the minute you guys split up as you inevitably will do. You're both 13 ffs still little kids.

We went to Build A Bear for my bachelorette party years ago. It was so fun! I've also gone for several birthdays now.
I take my son once in a while, I think I have more fun than he does.

why would you be too old. It' doesn't mean that you have to keep it or like it to want to build one, or more correctly, to sew one. Most of the women who make hand made bears spend hours and hours sewing them lovingly and they are probably much older than you!

Never too old. You're as old as you feel. I got my wife a Raggedy Ann & Andy set, the big ones, for a gift. She loves them, put them on some old wooden kid chairs we have. Grandaughter plays with them when she comes to visit. Never too old!

No ways...you're never too old to do anything...I'm a teen but I still like playing with toys and that stuff...but on the other side I do like to act my age!!
