Well doctors usually wait after a couple has tried continually for a yr tracking ovulation and not using protection before they start looking for fertility problems. So many factors play a role in trying to conceive. First one wants to see if they ovulate.. This is usually 10-14 days after your period starts. If one ovulates thats great news. There are drugs out there like clomid and glucophage to help u ovulate or ovulate harder (produce more eggs) Low sperm count plays a role. So making sure u ovulate and mans sperm is good are the most important things...There is so much help out there to help infertile couples now a days...

Yep, we have too many children in the world, and whilst each child should be welcomed and made to feel precious, too many of us are breeding irresponsibly without any thought for the wider environment. Fertility needs to be controlled by the individual and the decision to bring a child into the world taken only when the parents are certain they can offset the environmental damage another human being wil cause.

I have several friends who are unable to bear children. One has tried invitro, and now has two children. One has tried the same method, conceived for a while, but the pregnancy was not sustained. My sister took fertility pills, and bore twin girls. We were surprised because we have no family genes for twins, and neither does her husband's line. In my country, we have several fertility rituals. There are couples who go to a certain hometown in a northern province to dance. There is also a statue of Our Lady of La Leche and mothers who wish to bear children pray to her.

I became pregnant at 18 yrs old, my boyfriend was 17. We got married, had a wonderful little boy.

Unfortunately, we were never able to concieve again. We have been married now for over 25 years. The doctors could never find anything wrong...

So we count our blessings and are happy to have had the chance to experience parenthood.

We have considered adopting, but I don't think we financially would fit the guidelines.
