agreed. this week will be very important. im predicting them taking at least 2 of 3 from the tigers, and at the very least 3 of 5 from the yankees. if they can do that, they will regain the lead, and the way they are playing now they will keep it. they are very capable though to win all 8 games this week, its tough to predict that though considering the tigers and yanks are two top teams in the AL
the red sox have also been much better in september, so if they can ride a lead into september they are golden. chen men wang or whoever is starting show weakness, 13 hits and 5 ER yesterday.
by the end of the season, im expecting the red sox win by 2 or 3 games, with the yankees in a race with the white sox for a wild card. that one is going to be tough to call

The Yankees because look at the guys they have on their team: Jeter, A-Rod, Giambi, Posada, Rivera, Wang, Johnson, Wright, Mussina, Abreu, Lidle, Wilson, Damon, Bernie, Melky, Cano, Proctor, Farnsworth, Villone, Myers, Phillips, Cairo, Fasano, Sheffield and Matsui (hopefully they will come back real soon,) and a lot of the other guys on the DL who I hope will come back SOON TOO! GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)

They both are so close that it could be either one. The only problem with the yanks is that they have so many people on the DL list.
