Or did he have his way with Samantha Stevens?

I think he was gay, but in the old days it didn't matter because people didn't try and define themselves by their sexuality. My favorite answer on Hollywood squares:

Q: According to Mark Spitz, can you swim faster in the nude?

Lynde: No, but its easier to steer.

Was he gay? Are you kidding me? The only reason he was in the center square on Hollywood Squares is because he wanted to be surrounded by men.

Yes, he was. He never announced in public that he was gay, but it was obvious by his actions and what he said on Hollywood Squares that he was.

Who care's he was the best part of Bewitched. Actually she was hot enough that even if he was gay he probably took a poke at it.
He was funny as hell on all those gameshows.

I'm not sure, but I do know that he was absolutely hilarious.
His humor was sarcastic and witty, but very intelligent.
I remember seeing him on many different shows including appearances on "Laugh In", "The tonight show", "Bewitched" and of course "Hollywood Squares", and he always had me rolling in laughter.
To me, his talent was the focus and not his personal life.
