Are we going to drag this war out for 10 years or can we go in there with the force we should have done in the first place and finish this quickly. Do we die fast or die slow. I think we need to pull out or go in there and with extream numbers and force and finish this because the longer we are their the more damage we do.

I dont think it was a mistake I think the Bushies new exactly what they were doing and now we need to get these guys out of office and fix the crap they left us with. They made there money off the war and now they can leve and enjoy their blood money and we can take back our government and get a real plain for victory in Iraq. That is what my question is about. I dont agree with why we are their I just want to solve the problem

I wanted the US out,now with the civil wars and multiple countries fighting,I'm afraid now we HAVE to stay awhile and help clean up the mess we in part made and stop the civilan body count of about 100+ a day.
Here as elsewhere, the US usually drags it out for as long as possible.Desert Sheild was an exception.

That's a problem with Americans.
We think that all we have to do is pound our gigantic red&white&blue fists on the table hard enough, and all the dishes and silverware will miraculously arrange themselves in perfect order.
And then we're oh! so surprised! when we end up with a heap of shattered glass...

Your statement and arguments are naieve.
If we leave now, the terrorists will have a much easier time gathering a new arsenal - nukes this time.
That part of the world is dead set on killing.
We dare not leave them alone in the nuclear age.

The new Democratic candidate for the senate in Connecticutt thinks we should cut and run. The Democrats are going to destroy themselves by being weak on defense and the war on terror.

Why don't you say that about Europe? We've been in Europe, not needed, for 40+ years. I say we need a presence in the ME with terrorists running wild.

We need to evaluate why we are there and remind ourselves of our purpose. Otherwise, we can expect another Vietnam type conflict.
