We saw an odd little animal in a wooded area and we were told it was a beaver weasel. Is there such an animal?

No, there is not such thing, well not that I am aware of anyways. Even the common name makes no sense, a beaver is a rodent and a weasel is a mustelid, animlas from two seperate orders completely, its almost as likely as SPIDER-MAN hahaha.

I think it may have been either a river Otter, a muskrat, or a mink, those are the only three that make sense....

have a look

Musk rat:

mink:

I hope this helps!

No. It sounds like slang for otter.
