I have to say no. Here's why:

1. That actor's lips. I don't know what her name is, but she played the wife. I mean really, silicone much?

2. Stephen King's writing has become self-indulgent and repetitive. Italicize much? He's almost as irritating in that respect as Helen Gurley Brown. Ok, I know this is a movie and NOTHING was italicized. But it was based on a book, which I admit I haven't read, but I bet there was a lot of italicizing.

3. I guess I just can't warm up to a movie where a woman was willing to give up her kid. This last is rather odd, since I don't like kids and normally I'd be the first one to say "hey, get rid of that thing already!" but for some reason, it just rubbed me the wrong way here.

4. Enough with the stupid Maine accents!

5. Enough with the odd, recurring phrases that all the crazy people use (a common King theme). I'm a little teapot?

6. Yawn. Where was the editor, or whoever is supposed to cut these things down to a reasonable length of time?

So there you go. You can see I don't have any strong opinions about this movie!

That was a great movie. Colm Fiore was wonderful as Linoge and Tim Daly presented another fine performance. Stephen King did it again.

One of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen. I don't know if I can say I liked it. It was well written and directed and the acting was great, but it was pretty disturbing. Colm Feore was great as Linoge. That was one of those movies that when I saw it, I thought about it for weeks.
