my husbands work truck has a film almost like it was sprayed with a laquer inside, I have tried vinegar, window cleaner, hard water remover everything I can think of. I leaves a blurry, oily like surface. and dries with streaks.

The previous answer is correct, just to get a little more detailed, lift an edge of the film and pull it off the window keeping your grip close to where it's still connected to the window so it doesn't tear. You can also by the "Tint-Off" at Wal-Mart slightly less expensive in the automotive department in the aisle that sells window tint!

Denatured alcohol will melt the adhesive and eliminate any extra once you pull the movie off. I actually have utilized the alcohol with a sprayer and then taped a wide plastic garbage bag over the window to save the fumes close to the window tint.

Armourall car cleaning products has a window tint cleaning spray (looks like Windex, but its clear)...you can find it in any automotive department..

Thinner paint remover will dissolve that, use a plastic spatula and old fabric and then you can use alcohol to clean the staff, after that Windex and news papers will take care. I hope this will help you.

ok.try using carb.cleaner,then clean it with a good glass cleaner.the carb cleaner will cut the film.or theres something the detail shops use and thats steel wool,use the double ott steel wool,then clean it with glass cleaner.
