And why do we strive to blame others for these faults? I know, i could be contradicting myself by simply asking this, implying that others are to blame, not me, but i do know that i've done it, and i do know that others have as well. We just seem to always be looking in the opposite direction than where we should or when things go wrong.

As mentioned earlier stupidy and arrogance are more widespread a trait. And its something with individuals that draw us to want to be that guy with all the power. Thus are insatiable appetite for that, increases our arrogance.

But theres another element left out! Wisdom, ussually remains quiet around such situations. For instance, a wise person will not jump on every opportunity to show a guy hes stupid. Instead a Wise person attempts to teach him what he should know.

And thus a Wise person doesnt look so arrogant, instead he looks like a teacher.

Its like a situation where 3 guys are talking about a subject say math.

The stupid/arrogant guy is saying something that is totally off. The Wise one of the group doesn't jump up and say YOUR WRONG instead he says "I think this is what you mean" or etc. Thus you wont know how wise he really is without further learning.

So wisdom is hidden because of humility which comes with it.

Wisdom is hard to come by. It takes a lot of life experiences to gain Wisdom and even at that there are many people who continue to make the same mistakes over and over. To gain Wisdom one has to take the focus off oneself.

Arrogance is a self-centered attitude.Thinking that you are better than other people is a stumbling block on the road to Wisdom - as are all selfish attitudes.

Stupidity is sort of the opposite of Wisdom.

Life is essentially a series of choices. We choose, look at the consequences and either grow from the experience or not. If not, then we make the same mistakes over again until we get it correct. If we learn something from the choice then we grow in wisdom. It's a process, but you need a teachable attitude in order to advance toward Wisdom.

Choose Wisely!

I disagree with you. Wisdom always take a higher level of imposrtant for me. Stupidity and arrogance are low humanity insincts. Low level intellegence is the only reason I think someone would choose these two over wisdom. There are a lot of dumb, uneducated people out there. Hard, cold, unyielding people try to cover the ignorance with a a hardened heart. Anyone that relates or prefers stupidity and arrogance above wisdom is a person who needs a heart change.

because stupidity and arrogance are loud. they think that if they shout down everyone else, that automatically makes them right, or the winner. wisdom knows that no matter how much we know, there is a lot we don't, and keeps looking for answers instead of sitting on a position yelling at people.

The key here is "SEEM" . It usually seems that way because the stupid and the arrogant can talk much louder and faster than the wise do. Sure we all screw up, but that is one step closer to wisdom if you actually learn from it.

They don't really. How many times are you just bored or find their rambling such a waste of your time that you shut down. I do it all the time. Of course then the ramblers think YOU are not intellectual enough for the discussion. Then those people just keep wondering through life annoying everyone.

those without wisdom are what? fools and they seem to have the majority vote.

people blame others and do hateful/hurtful things to others to justify their own sad existance. it makes them feel better to be mean. unfortunate for so many.

listen, learn, let go and live - everyone should try this.

Sometimes people mistake stupidity and arrogance for wisdom. If someone acts as if he knows what he's talking about, it becomes rather tempting to believe him.

stupidity and arrogance are more common than wisdom. It is easier for someone to be stupid than to be responsible.

Show me the perfect person, and they will show you how much wisdom they have. But then, they would be arrogant.
