when you send fan mail?

does it go to the fan club and they send it to the stars a little at a time??

It depends on the star, how popular they are and what agency they are signed with. Most all do have someone that at least assist them in opening and sorting through the mail and responding to requests for autographs, etc.

"Rising stars"...stars that are still working at getting a fan base, do still seem to read and respond to some of their fan mail. Bigger stars rarely ever do as they are too busy working, but whoever opens their fan mail will share the better letters with them.

Sadly, some stars now not only want a self-addressed pre-posted envelope for a return autograph, but want a fee for a pre-signed picture. Some, like Brittney Spears, want you to pony up a fee of $25-$30 to join their fan club.

Here is a website that has tested star addresses; it used to be free back when my son was collecting autographs and pictures, but they may charge a fee now.

I very much doubt that the stars actually read much of their fan mail themselves.
Most of the mail would be vetted by the fan club secretaries
long before they actually send anything onto the the stars to read themselves.
Most big stars would not have the time.to look at a lot of mail.
