If you are in the early part of your pregnancy this may just be a symptom of you hormone changes taking place in your mommy body.

You may want to check with your doctor. If you are in your last trimester you may have a potentially serious condition. If you also have swelling in your face or hands, headache, blurred vision or high blood pressure (140/90) accompanying this you may have preeclampsia.

Another early pregnancy problem that includes dizziness is a tubal pregnancy (ectopic pregnancy). The other symptoms are vaginal bleeding, gas and cramping, and light-headedness.

In the second half of pregnancy anemia is possible due to the high amount of iron a pregnant woman needs and how little she gets if she is not taking vitamin (and sometimes even when she is) the accompanying symptoms are weakness, pale complexion, shortness of breath, and heart palpitations.

I hope that I have not worried you but if this is persistent or intense talk to a doctor immediately. In most instances early medical detection of these problems could save your life. And if it is nothing you can sit back and say "silly me, my baby is still safe."

Your blood pressure may be too low, or it may be fluctuating. Also, your blood sugar may be low. Are your ankles swollen? Are you drinking enough water? Talk to your doctor.
