I am a bit older and I shaved for about 7 years. First it started with my bikini line, then I loved it. Now, I am not so crazy about the whole thing. Ingrown hairs! And when hair grows back in it itches, BAD. It is just a personal choice. Some guys prefer it on a girl but the next question is exactly how many people are going to see it?

Its more hygeinic that way. Pubic hair is a big source of infection and should be kept to a minimum. Try shaving with shaving cream/gel and a lady razor twice a month. Since the insertion of the penis and the urination processes are both so close to this hair, it stores a lot of bacteria and its best to get rid of the hair. Some women wax it off but since that's quite painful, its not something that a lot of women would go for but shaving is painless and easily done.

I am a swimmer. a year round swimmer. I do shave my bikini line every other day with that pink electric shaver that looks like a pen. Its 10 dollars and it works miracles at walgreens. Depends on what you are doing. If you need to bc you are going to get friendly with a boy, then go for it. Only remember this, shaving causes lots of irratation and it might burn the next day. I cant stand that pain. So if you can get by without it, do that.

That is strickly up to you!!!! Don't let anyone tell you different. I prefer to shave or either keep it cut very short especially in the summer months because of the heat and the fact that a lot of hair bunched up in your undies can't help but to sweat and we all know what sweat smells like. I've found that some men actually prefer a woman to shave or keep it short because as they say "they don't like hair in their mouths" if you know what I mean. Bottom line is that it is strictly you choice. Make it one that you can be comfortable with and then kick back and enjoy life.

Ummmm I think it is a good idea. Besides guys like that a whole lot better than a bush.

I think you should wax, instead of shaving.... Having pubic hair can really feel disgusting especially in the summertime or when you get your period......it really gets hot and smelly south of the border....

Please do! Medichally speaking it is best to shave becouse, impurities attached on pubian hair! You have to wash 2 times a day to get rid of it! If not, there you go! Disseases!

i don't know if you're supposed to, but i do it anyway. it's cleaner and easier to wash when you have period. or just get a trimmer and trim it short because it's gonna itch and dry your skin if you SHAVE all the way to the skin.

there is no law saying you cant shave down there! but be awear when it starts to grow back it is extreamly itchy. your better off going down to your local beauty salon and getting it waxed its not so bad when it grows back then. its not at all flattering when it gets stumoy after shaving either. good luck!
