dont worry, i was a late starter too, i was 15 and 5 months when i started mine. As long as you have the signs like, pubic hair growing and breast getting bigger, you shouldnt worry, how ever if you havent had any signs and you havent started by your 16th birthday go to the doctors... theyl be able to help you

Girl, i wish i was u. Everyones body is different, you might just be a late bloomer. But if u'll like i suggest you go to a GYN clinic. They might be able to explain why u haven't gotten your period as yet. But babygirl, u ain't missing out on anything. U'll probably be wishing in a few years u never gotten your period. I kno i do.

I have read in several books that if you haven't started by the age of 16, you need to see a doctor.

when did your mother start hers? Sometimes these things are hereditary (the time to start). If you are over-exercising or are very active, doing strenuous jogging, etc. it may start later or if you're over tired it might not start at all. Wait another year and then ask your doctor if nothing has happened.

i dont think that you need to worry about that cause girl get it at diff. times then other your turning 16 and thats the "age" where enerything happens to you so just chill.and trust you dont wanna have it when your young

my friend will be 16 in 5 days and hasnt gotten hers yet. it could be because you are smaller or are a big athlete.

completely. every girl starts at a different time. I had a friend who didn't start til she was 17. if you're really worried, you could go see you dr and they could do some tests, but i wouldn't worry about it
