What an intelligent question from an inquisitive & creative mind.
Don't mind these others, they're not honest.
Naturally people get really scared when things happen out of the ordinary.
If the sky suddenly turns orange or any other strange color, it will be a world event. People will be scared, most would rather stay home than risk going to work; many will stare into the sky praying for forgiveness of their sins thinking it's the end of the world; NASA will get busy suspecting alien invasion; meteriologists will go to work looking for explanations; news media will get busy on breaking news & developing story; the sea will take a new color & attract some adventurers; there would be accidents & confusion; the whole world will be awake together for the first time because no one will feel comfortable sleeping!

what is sky ? it is just vast space it is the dust particles gases & sun which make it look like blue colour. there is no psychology there. with thus pollution. smoke etc the day is not far when all things turn different . then the so called sky also may look different for us. but it will not affect us psychologically because our mind will get adjusted to that situation.

This does happen on occasion at sunset, when atmospheric conditions are right. If I saw an orange sky during the day, I would think there would be a storm or other disturbance to the atmosphere.

I have seen such pretty sunsets with the burnt orange highlighting the horizon. I always feel awe at the sight.
Our blue sky is never just one shade of blue so I doubt the sky would be just one hue of orange.
I think I would just be inspired as I am with the colors we now gaze upon.

If I woke up and saw an orange sky, I'd think that there is some kind of natural disaster or extreme pollution occurring...

Depending on a person's perspective, the sky could be orange. Should we call it blue because another person told us it was blue? Who decided that? What if my sky is orange and my lawn is red if I perceive it that way?

the blue colour of the sky is using Rayleigh scattering. As mild strikes with the aid of the ambience, a tremendous variety of the longer wavelengths pass instantly with the aid of. Little of the red, orange and yellow mild is tormented with the aid of the air. in spite of the undeniable fact that, most of the shorter wavelength mild is absorbed with the aid of the gas molecules. The absorbed blue mild is then radiated in diverse guidelines. It receives scattered all around the sky. Whichever route you seem, a number of this scattered blue mild reaches you. because you spot the blue mild from everywhere overhead, the sky seems blue.
