Only you can decide. I wasn't ready for college when I first went. It was a waste of time and money. If you CAN finish college first, there is still plenty of time to pursue your dream. Having a degree is beneficial, and the social skills you develop in college are an important part of the experience.

I'd love to say, follow your dreams, but you need back-up. Channel your dreams into college so then when you are on your own, you can use your education.
My friend, Kimmy, she had an opourtunity that people called her crazy to pass up. The National Tour of RENT or College.
She chose College and double majored in Theatre and Physcology. She has been acting since graduation, but has her Physcology degree as a back-up plan in case things don't work out.
Good Luck!

Finish college and then follow my dreams, so that IF I didn't find my dreams then I would have something to fall back on.

finish college then go for the dream. If you do it the other way around, you lose your fallback position and that can make for a tough life. With college you always have something you can rely on if you need to.

Both.... I was fortunate enough during my college years to take part in performances at the school, in the local community and summers with several 'way off broadway' productions. Those led to better roles as I continued my education and also put me in a position to network with several producers.

Not only is the education extremely important, the life experiences give you a deeper understanding of things you may not have appreciated before. Finally, don't discount those contacts. You will meet people who, like you, are just starting out. Treating them like you want to be treated will pay off in a big way when they begin to succeed as well.

college first ... not exactly romantic, but it is practical. honestly, though, for most situations you could do them both at the same time. if u wanna be in music, then form a local band while you go to college ... or whatever your "dream" is. but if you don't have a reliable backup plan, a way to definitely make a living, then you might be sorry later. :(
