I have a nice bobble hat and a scarf with extra tassles which should keep me toasty warm until someone puts 50p in the meter.

I have an air horn to let God know to turn the sun back on, it is only the middle of the day, night time does not come for another 5-6 hours. Then the moon will be turned on.

I have a big sombrero because i know it will get very hot and i will blow up if the sun were to go out, and a lot of suntan cream and an ice cold bath. Lets party!!!

We would have 8 minutes to find something warm enough to sustain life at just above absolute zero (minus 274 degrees C) assuming of course that we had heard timeously that hubble or somesuch had just seen the sun wink out.
I would grab my children, jump into bed with them and hold em tight..................

The sun would not just go out, it would turn in to a supernova engulfing the earth. But if you want to think of your way, there is nothing you can put on- we would die unless we burrowed into the earth like our dwarven ancestors! :-)

if the sun goes out, then all we know of physics is wrong...
and if it goes out, I don't expect to live more than a few hours. 2 days max.

I guess nothing because even in winter the sun is shining.However, we can wear lots and lots and lots of warm clothes!
