Yes! F1 has one of the highest audiences worldwide of any sport. Also anyone who saw the hungarian race last week will know what F1 is all about. Having said that there are problems, lets just hope the next batch of reg changes help!

There is more to racing than having the fastest car. Any dumb idiot can drive a fast car on the straights, but circuits have different corners and different designs which requires that you tune the car for the maximum performance for each track! Then there is the driver skill, strategy, tactics and team effort. All in all, if you know all the effort and planning that goes into these races then you know the secrets to be successful in any aspect of life.

In any case, if you still find it boring save yourself the aggravation and watch something else!

Yeah! Why not? I for example love f1… it’s the best motor sport on the planet, and it has the biggest talents driving in it, maybe it’s a little bit of boring but I think that formula1 is getting over that period since the last race (which was one of the best in years)!

Formula 1 has the best drivers-- in the best cars-- with the best teams and the overall product is boring.

I compare it to men's tennis when you have a couple players that serve a dozen aces every set making the game uninteresting.

Being the the best in all these respects does not nessessarily make an exciting product for the sports fan.

Yes, I do because F1 has the real grunt and has the power enough to pull your attention towards it. Do you know any powerful car ever made; there cannot be any powerful car than F1 car, NOT EVEN NASCAR OR INDYCAR. And also there were no potential driver than Kimi, Alonso, Schmi in the history of racing.

The sight, the smell, the noise (ever since I bought my F1 alarm clock, waking up is less of a pain), not to mention the technical and political aspects and the not-so-behind-the-scene spats between drivers, team bosses etc....

Im 35 and remember f1 in the 80s....Piquet, Rosberg,Prost etc etc i watched them all on sundays with my dad. It was so more exciting in those days and so much more seemed to happen.
Its got so boring and i have given F1 the benefit of the boubt so many times.
ITS NOW DEAD OR VERY NEARLY BELIEVE ME.
Its losing more interest each year.
What a shame.

Yes, of course. I know it can look boring but the same is said about oval racing ( not by me!). They're both moving games of chess and strategy is involved ( as in ALL forms of racing over a long distance especially with pit stops) - strategy which can change throughout a race. I can't imagine there's any strategy involved in - say - a 100 metre footrace.

Is that even a question? I love F1 and it is the world's most widely watched sport. It is never boring. F1 is as exciting as any other sport in the world and is even better in the wet when the racer's true potential is shown. So, dude, please don't ask such dumb questions in future. SCHUMI ROCKS!!!!!

It's definitely a lot better than the past few years when one team would dominate unless they crashed or retired. Hopefully it'll go down to the last couple of races.
