This will take a few times, it usually does for me. You need to right click on you desktop and go to properties. Now click the Settings . Change the screen size. You can use your arrow keys and press enter. Should work.

This will happen when your monitors refresh is set for 50Hz when it should be 60Hz. Check your display settings in the control panel. Click Settings, Advanced, Monitor. If you can't get into the control panel then right click on the desktop and choose properties.

Monitor settings...
Your monitor should have some buttons which pull up a little window on the screen - you can adjust X & Y scalings to pull everything back into place.

By the way, pressing one of the two windows buttons also gets the start menu.
Hope the resolution change fixes it.

How about pushing the select button on your monitor(it will be on the bottom, side or front side of the monitor).
Then try decreasing the height and width of the display.
I am sure tat u will get it.
