Everyone IS special and yet, no one is overly special. I would have asked 'What makes you think you are EXCEPTIONAL?'
I think I am 'special' enough to deserve respect as a human being, but am I exceptional? Maybe some would think so and others wouldn't. Since I take for granted any abilities I might have, no I am not that exceptional. A pretty nebulous question you asked there.

all of us have many similarities.. in the sense that all of us have feelings, are proud to be intelligent Homo sapiens... and others..
But, there's is no 2 persons who are exactly alike. No one has the same thoughts as another. No one has the same desires, or the same level of yearning to achieve his/her desires.
Plus, I'm the only one born 3rd in my family. The very only one. I am smart. I am lazy. I have a temper. I like mathematics. I have x number of friends. No one else has my character, my attitude, the same number of friends, the same friendliness to my friends or any other aspects. Not anyone else in the world is the same as me in all aspects especially in character and background. I am, in one word, unique.
Thus, because of these differences, I am special and am proud to be special!
You are too, if you compare yourself with others.

I know im not special, for the fact that we're all equal human beings. We're all the same, but we have different actions. Besides, if someone thinks they're so special, they must think they are better than everyone else.

what makes me special
i think that i am just as special as everyone has the potential to be
for most of the time i am not
but here and there i am willing to let my ego go
and do wonderful things for people
so i guess i might not be so special
but i do have potential
like most of us

not exactly special, but very satisfied with the way that i have lived my life and accomplishments. i guess i am special because i made it through thyroid ca, and ca has always been a big fear of mine, since it took my mom at age 49. yes, i guess i am special, thanks for making me realize...
