I suggest all natural Menopause Balance Complex.

Uses compounds found in plants call phytoestrogens to ease mood swings, sleeplessness, and hot flashes.

Contains a standardized extract of Black Cohosh as well as Soy Isoflavones and Flaxseed. Also contains a proprietary phytoestrogen blend of dong quai, red clover and licorice. No artifical colors or flavors. No synthetic preservatives.

My friend had been taking HRT but started having some of the bad side effects. She tried the Menopause Balance Complex and has been using ever since. It has worked very well for her.

Hope this helps and best wishes. For more info, feel free to contact me.

I have found an alternative medicine that has totally eliminated my hot flashes...this worked within a week. I was flashing so bad that it was not unusual to see me out on the doorstep in 30 below weather and in the summer I carried a personal fan everywhere I went. As a result of this, I also had insomnia, headaches and heartburn. I am happy to say that this is all gone now. I have not had a flash in over 3 months and hope to never have another one again!! I have helped many other women find success with this as well....comes with a 100% empty bottle money back guarantee so definately worth a try!

I had a hysterectomy 19 years ago, tried all of the pharmaceuticals and finally found a doctor to prescribe bio-identical hormones that you get from a compound pharmacy. The doctor has to write it up, but it is a life saver. It's a lotion you put on your forearms once a day and you feel good. My doctor told me to just take a low dose aspirin since the main side effects of hrt's are that it thickens your blood which leads to strokes, etc. Find a compound pharmacy and they can recommend a doctor that will write the prescription for you. Don't listen to your doctor when he says all the side effects are just a part of getting old. Live your life fully.
Good luck.

In Chinese medicine, hot flashes and night sweats are considered Yin Deficiency. Black cohosh is popular, but eventually creates more Yin Deficiency if used for a prolonged period of time so you often hear women say that the black cohosh 'stopped working' for them. Chaste berry has a better track record for long term use.

Well, of course you realize that your body is going haywire from the removal of your ovaries, since they produce hormones, and wow, that part of you is gone... your body is freaking out at the moment, thats why it does the hot flash night sweat thing...
The Menopause complex suggestion before me is a good one, I hear that has helped alot of ppl.
The main thing is not to stress out over it, that just makes things worse. depending on your age and lifestyle try to make some time for yourself, away from the kids and the spouse (if you cant find it, make it)
Meditate and relax, get used to your new body, and deal with the symptoms as they happen.. And get that Menopause complex stuff the above poster said, It should help you out alot.

I had a hysterectomy two years ago and the doctor won't put me on hormane replacement because of all the side effects, I take magnesium and calcuim tablets, this has cut down the flashes in half, not much else works. try to stay cool, I love my central air, keeps me from having lots of flashes.

There's a product called Frutaiga that is getting some pretty good results with hot flashes, although treating menopause symptoms is not its primary purpose. Has lots of other health benefits but it also does a good job of regulating hormones. You can read more about it at their information site....www.power2heal.info

Buy a progesterone cream. KAL is one brand, and there are others. Rub on the skin as directed. This has to be done on a regular basis, and it works very well as a preventive measure. You don't notice the change immediately. I had a natural menopause; I used this and my period started again for a few more months. But more importantly, it prevents perimenopausal symptoms.
