an enlarged prostate is known clinically as a Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia(BPH).The classical symptom is 'dribbling' during urination,that is,a feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder.The person needs to wake up in the night to urinate.These symptoms result due to the enlarged prostate blocking the urethra.
BPA is a very common condition in the elderly.the symptoms need to be recognised early and medical help sought.
