I keep getting bumped off the internet. I have Norton Internet Security enabled. So, I am assuming it's not a virus; but what else could it be? This just started happening a few weeks ago and is very sporatic.

I justr renewed Norton Security, so I am sure that's up to date also.

Make sure your Internet Security is updated and is not expired. Also try calling your ISP to see if they can help you...it might be a problem on their end. If not, they can at least help you troubleshoot.

If you have dail up it could be people calling your phone, sometimes it knocks you off the internet. Its worth the extra money to get cable or DSL.
