Has anyone wonderd why a computer cannot be stopped and hangs itself for not being able to...

Addition:
im talking abt the wrong analogy of choosing begin and end. like
Start : Stop :: Open : Close, and Start : Close.. hmmm that sounds a bit dodgy.

BTW, this is not a serious question!

I always considered the "Close" or "X button" to be a bit of a stop button.

u can stop anything in Windows Task Manager -> proccesses
(selected proccess) end proccess Button
some programs is in system tray that haven't close button
for example trojans and keylogger and spyware
u can close these software with windows Task Manager
->proccesses -> "end proccess" button
(also explorer.exe)
I think it is Stop Button

well *ahem....I'm guessing that you can only start a com when it's off? There's no stop button because...the Shut Down button is present ...only when the com is on. -.-

PS: Reset should do the trick if the com hangs.

If you suddenly stop your computer you loss your stuff so you have have to log of, log off,etc. You see stopping immediately will mess up your computer that is why there is no stop button!
