No they cannot be used together...call the provider of one you don't use and have them discontinue your account

DSL and Cable Internet are two different things. You can have both on different computers (well, you can change between the two on the same computer), but having both is a waste of money for the average user.

Many companies nowadays give "special" discount if you get multitude of services (bundled services) from them, such as long distance, international, and DSL from the phone company, and cable and internet from cable providers. I would look at which provides you better value, and if you are not under contract with the other, cancel the other.

No u can't...A coaxial cable cannot be connected to a DSL modem.

not a very good idea if you are using a generic router then its possible, but most companies use equipment that is set for their own networks and will not work well in other environments good luck
