I cleaned my furnace filter 6 weeks ago, It wasn't too bad. I went to clean it again and it was the same as the day I replaced it. Immaculate and free of any dirt or dust!! Rutrow -- what's wrong? It's a new 93% 2 stage variable York Affinity

As the other answer said, the furnace needs to run for air to flow. If that is the case, maybe the filter was installed backwards. It should have an arrow that indicates the direction of air flow. This should be going into the furnace.

U have nothing to worry about simply means u have a clean home but u also have a two stage furnace which controls speed of blower differently than other furnaces variable means the blower motor slows down or speeds up depending on temp,humidity,etc.

Sorry to ask a silly question, but has the furnace been running? It has been quite hot this summer. The filter won't get dirty until the furnace begins to draw air to heat.
